Statins Ineffective

In a recent study of 3,000 Americans over 65 statin drugs were ineffective in preventing a cardiovascular event. The patients were at intermediate risk but statin users had no significant decrease in heart attacks. Other populations studies in seniors have shown higher cholesterol is actually correlated with better overall health.

Cholesterol is a critical component of nerves and the brain. In addition, statins have been linked to memory failure, muscle damage, permanent neuropathy, diabetes in 14%, and kidney failure.

Stop listening the advertising hype about these drugs.
